Fusion Offense - Madden 24 Modded Playbook

Video Game Modding
This is the 9th version of the MAMA playbook series, now called Fusion Offense. It is inspired by a ton of different schemes (Shanahan, Reid, Mcvay, LaFleur, McDaniels, Sirianni) with the addition of some of my own concepts. This book focuses on RPOs, motions, and specific coverage beaters. Pre-snap motion is used to identify coverages, in which some plays have routes to beat man, and others to beat zone.

There are around 30 formations and 346 plays, all with custom playart. Most passing playart have "read triangles," to help guide your eyes post snap.

In a rub route, two or more receivers will run their routes close to one another, typically crossing paths. One receiver's route is designed to "rub" or "pick" the defender covering the other receiver. This creates a natural barrier that the defender must navigate around, often causing them to slow down, change direction, or momentarily lose their assignment.
Jet Wheel Concept
In the jet wheel concept, a receiver goes in motion across the formation, once the ball is snapped, the receiver turns upfield into a wheel route. Pairing this with play action can throw off the CPU, causing defenders to hesitate, switch assignments, or lose track of the receiver, often leaving them wide open for a big play.
Salem/Dagger Concept
This concept attacks the middle of the field. A combination of three routes is often used to stretch the defense vertically. The post route holds the safeties, the quick curl route attracts the linebackers, leaving an open window for the dig route.

Playbook Features
One of the few core football passing concepts, designed to beat cover 3 and cover 2 variations.
The angle route opens up in zone coverage with complimentary routes that help open up the middle of the field.
The double post concept is effective against cover 3 match, cover 4, and even press man coverage.
Flipping the direction of the run is now possible in most gun formations. "PM Switch Zone" or "PM Read Option" can be accessed through the audibles.
Mike McDaniel popularized the exit motion during the '23-24 season. In Madden, exit motion can be used to confuse both man and zone responsibilities.
Specific red zone passing plays are named as "RZ". These plays are all very fast paced, intended to get the ball out quick.
Slant, return, option, sluggo, and ziggo routes are designed to beat man coverage. Most gun formations have audibles accessible in the event of a blitz.
Run Pass Option
RPOs allow the user to hand off or throw a quick pass, depending on how the defense reacts. If the defender commits to stopping the run, you throw; if the defender stays in coverage, the ball is handed off.
Motion Across Formations
Formations that are similar in alignment are ordered next to each other. This way switching between formations is a lot faster with only a few players shifting.
