Dr. Teal's Redesign

Identity, packaging, and motion design
The reimagined Dr. Teal's is an online personal care product line that is fully customizable and is individually formulated. These products are made specifically for the user. It matches specific skin and hair types, skin conditions, preferences in ingredients, and personal goals. Customers can customize the packaging with a selection of recycled plastic materials, ceramics, as well as different paints of aluminum. Labels are also personalized with the ingredient selections and color-coded with the ingredient selection.

Materials
The main material used is recycled plastic from PLASTICIET which is a Dutch startup that recycles plastic to make materials that mimics terrazzo stone. The material is made from a combination of shredded plastic and melted plastic formed together. This makes what was once a single-use plastic into something that not only looks beautiful but is reusable and adds to the sustainability of the packaging.
Digital Renderings
Products are reimagined with sustainable alternatives such as dissolvable body wash, solid bars, and metal deodorant case.
Label Design
The bellybands show the color of the ingredient on the inside when you take it off. Additionally, the logo is embossed on the front side.
The top panel features a "personalized section" that includes the customer's name, their selections, refill cycle, and material selections.
Refills
Refills come in a paper box, similar to the deodorant. The patterns mimic the packaging material and it changes color based on the ingredient selection.
Shipper Box
On top of the products, there is a translucent sheet that recaps the selections made on the website.
Website
The website is redesigned to showcase the customization of the products. The product purchase page allows the user to customize the ingredients and materials.
