Nike Air Mercurial

Webinar launch event

The Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Event was hosted by Nike in collaboration with INDUSTRY, at Nike World HQ. The virtual event unveiled Nike Football’s new Mercurial lineup in advance of the 2022 World Cup.

As a member of this project, I helped create the 3D animated background as well as 2D assets for the invitations before moving on to final set production.

Challenge

Nike Air Zoom Mercurial boot floating against a blue sky

INDUSTRY was tasked to create an immersive virtual experience that combined live video, B-roll footage, and motion elements to showcase new technologies in Nike’s new Mercurial lineup.

Solution

“Air Bubbles” were used as a framing device to combine the ideas of Lightweight + Nike Air. This concept was integrated into both the 3D simulations for the background, as well as the 2D elements for the invitations.
